art basel in miami beach 2025
Galeria Raquel Arnaud will participate in Art Basel Miami Beach 2025, held from December 4 to 7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in the United States. In this edition, the gallery celebrates its more than fifty-year history by presenting a selection of works that highlight its contribution to the consolidation of constructive, kinetic, and contemporary art in Brazil and abroad.
The booth will bring together key names in the history of modern and contemporary art, such as: Alberto Martins, Almandrade, Amilcar de Castro, Anna Maria Maiolino, Antonio Dias, Carla Chaim, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Carlos Nunes Carlos Zilio, Célia Euvaldo, Elizabeth Jobim, Felipe Pantone, Gisela Colón, Iole de Freitas, Jesús Rafael Soto, José Resende, Julio Villani, Maria-Carmen Perlingeiro, Marina Weffort, Sergio Camargo, Sérvulo Esmeraldo, Shirley Paes Leme, Tunga, Waltercio Caldas, and Wolfram Ullrich. The selection offers a cross-generational overview, highlighting how each artist relates in a unique way to the materials they choose, shaping and redefining the perception of space.
Among the works on display are sculptures in marble and Belgian black by Sergio Camargo, one of the pillars of Brazilian constructive art; works by Carlos Cruz-Diez, which explore light, color, and movement; as well as sculptures by Waltercio Caldas and Iole de Freitas, which investigate the boundaries between materiality and lightness. Artist Carla Chaim represents the new generation, with drawings and paintings that propose a dialogue between body, gesture, and space.
With more than five decades of activity, Galeria Raquel Arnaud has established itself as an international reference in the dissemination of Brazilian constructive and contemporary art. Its presence at Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 reaffirms the coherence of a program that connects different times and languages, keeping alive the dialogue between tradition and experimentation.
